Jeriami and I believe Kristen but I cannot remember her name came to my house to provide the estimate. After reviewing what needed to be done Jeriami gave me a very competitive price. He updated the quote to a higher price later because he forgot to charge for the removal of the old insulation but it was still a good price. I felt very comfortable speaking with Jeriami and his coworker. As I was waiting to receive an estimate from the other company, H.O.M.E. updated the quote again with a 20% discount. When I received a quote from the other company, which was over double that amount it was an easy decision to go with H.O.M.E. Bob was the contractor who performed the work. He called me on the approved date to let me know when he would be arriving. After reviewing the crawl space he noticed that my dryer vent was disconnected and had tape in his truck to tape it back up. I really liked that he did that for me at no extra cost. He performed all the insulation work including filling in all gaps on the walls in approximately 2-3 hours, which was good time. I highly recommend H.O.M.E not only for their pricing and quality of work but their attitude for helping the customer with the extra things that need to be done without gouging your wallet. He pointed out that we had inadequate insulation and suggested bringing it up to R 49. Although Bob has a hippy appearance, he knows his stuff and is extremely knowledgeable. The day the insulation was to be put in place, I received a phone call that they were running late and later that they were running extremely late due to traffic. In any case they arrived approximately 2 hrs late. Mike and his team were terrific. They explained what they were going to do, put down protective covers and went to work. They stayed late to finish the job. While I hope never to put in more insulation, I think they did an excellent job and would certainly use them again.
